Initial 2 month contract + strong possibility for extension

Working within a small team in Brisbane you will be in charge of 2nd level support, providing customer and client support for this web-based application by phone, email or web-chat. This role reports directly to an entrepreneurial and energetic MD, and you will also be responsible for recommending and designing improvements in order to enhance the software specifications, as well as developing various product documentation and User FAQs.

You will have strong experience in a customer service support role with a real passion for IT and programming. Skills sought are in ASP, ASP.NET and SQL 2005 and you will ideally have experience in web application development. Undergraduate looking for a project to complete course requirements.

I am a 4th year student currently studying a Bachelor of Biotechnology Innovation (Hons) at QUT (Brisbane, Australia) and I will be graduating at the end of 2010. As a part of the course requirements for me to complete my degree I need to complete an industry project.

The project needs to be of an innovation or commercialisation nature and should help the prospective company and me in a way that will help both grow.

Would anyone in the WIT group have any suggestions on which companies might be open to having an undergraduate completing an project with them?.

I am looking for IT opportunities in the Brisbane area and would appreciate some assistance. I prefer roles involving people and technology--my two passions.
